When Peace is Found

The luke warm sun shines through to the stone cold ground

Worms wiggle and giggle, the fire is lit

Worms no nothing of war and turmoil, I suspect

Neither do ants, but i cannot be too sure.

Children filter through the littered Autumn leaves

The red and gold excites their inquisitive eyes

But they are not sensory so much to the site of these crisp leaves

As to their feel as they shuffle through laughing

Life in my avenue a tree lined street,

Is peaceful,

The worms wiggle and giggle underground

And so it will be the whole world over

When peace is found.
